Well made and will withstand rough play and outlast other options

My harness has been delivered and I'm impressed! I chose the bulldog harness because I wanted a traditional classic, leather man look. I’ve been interested in leather gear for years, but this is my first harness. When I made the decision to get one, I went straight to SAX, knowing they have long connections to the community. When my harness arrived, it lived up to everything I hoped for. It feels like high quality leather grain, built to take some rough treatment. It’s sturdy and well bonded, the hardware and buckles seem to be made of strong metal. The O-rings have got me thinking about what I might attach. I’ll be back for more.

I was tossing up between this and the softer nappa version: I chose this because the bridle leather boasted a ‘harder’ look. I was impressed when it arrived: just the look I was going for, firm leather, and good quality hardware. Despite choosing a small, it only fit if I adjusted it to the max, which left the straps overhanging (I’m lean). So I texted S(A)X, and they offered to make a new one to my size! I sent the original back, and the new one is on its way. Very speedy and helpful service. Really appreciated. N.B. If your chest measures below 90cm, best contact S(A)X to custom-make so you don’t have to return.
